A diagramme in the deleuzian sense is an abstract machine. What is described is the possible performance of how a space might be conceived, designed, intrepreted, and used – four levels of operation. Such a diagramme gives no defining routine practise, instead, it is creatively engaged in the formation of such a potential practise. In that sense, the berlin apartments are equally based on a diagram without stable interpretation, without predetermined consequences.
