Diamonds are forever. The design proposal for the competition is thus based on the symbol of the diamond. Its meaning is associated with luxury, progress, economic development, light, truth, transparency, precision, and accuracy. The crystalline structure of the diamond becomes the design principle for the innovative structure of a new urban symbol for Dubai, its prosperity, progress and innovation.
